Mobility within the city
Whether on foot, by bike, or by electric car, Wiesbaden offers numerous options for convenient and flexible travel within the city.
Wiesbaden excels in terms of urban design and walkable infrastructure when it comes to mobility. From the large convention center and smaller event venues to restaurants, theaters, museums, and lodging options, almost everything in Wiesbaden is within walking distance, making it possible to get around the city without needing additional transportation.
The RMCC is just a five-minute walk from Wiesbaden’s main train station. From the RMCC, you can reach at least five major hotels within a ten-minute walk. The Kurhaus Wiesbaden is a 10-minute walk away along the magnificent Wilhelmstraße and through the park grounds. For your event guests, this means short distances, convenient travel, and the opportunity to comfortably explore the city on foot.
In theory, conference guests do not need any form of transportation to get between the train station, the venue, and the hotels—depending on the location of your chosen hotel.

Cycling infrastructure
Since the establishment of the municipal cycling office (opens in a new tab) in 2018 and the multiplication of the annual cycling budget, a number of important projects have been implemented in Wiesbaden to promote cycling and thus strengthen cycling as a whole.
There are Bike+Ride bike boxes for locking bikes at Wiesbaden's main railway station.
And during events such as the Theatrium, the Rheingau Wine Week or the Autumn Market, as well as every Saturday, there are guarded bicycle lockers available free of charge in the city center to support environmentally friendly travel by bicycle.
On Saturdays, a guarded bicycle checkroom is available free of charge from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Dern'schen site.
Rent a bike
Event guests can use rental bikes to get around the city quickly and spontaneously.
With"Call a Bike (opens in a new tab)" from Deutsche Bahn and"Nextbike (opens in a new tab)" (bike station opposite the RMCC), rental bikes are offered for flexible use in the city - register and activate once and you're ready to go.
Rewards with the DB Rad+ bike app
The state capital of Wiesbaden, in cooperation with Deutsche Bahn, offers the DB Rad+ cycling app (opens in a new tab) to encourage people to ride their bikes more often. Users who collect kilometers with Rad+ can redeem them for numerous discounts from the app’s partners or use them to pay for a cappuccino, apples, or even admission to the Wiesbaden Museum.
By choosing to bike instead of driving, you can help reduce traffic-related emissions.
Electromobility
Thanks to federal e-funding and an e-mobility concept (opens in a new tab) in Wiesbaden, the number of electrically powered vehicles in Wiesbaden continues to rise. At the same time, the charging infrastructure is also being steadily expanded. There are now over 320 publicly accessible charging points in Wiesbaden. Eight of these are located in the underground car park of the RMCC and two in front of the Jagdschloss Platte. There are also two parking spaces in the Kurhaus Wiesbaden outdoor parking lot (behind the Kurhaus colonnade).
There are numerous ESWE charging stations (opens in a new tab) directly in the city center. Here, e-mobilists can "fill up" their vehicles with 100 percent ESWE Natur-Strom.
The city of Wiesbaden plans to install around 1,280 charging points by 2025 and a total of around 1,680 charging points [HK1] by 2030 in order to meet the increasing demand for charging infrastructure in the city.

Car sharing
Since 2020, the expansion of station-based car sharing on public streets in Wiesbaden has been driven forward. In four years, the car sharing offer has more than doubled and now comprises around 180 vehicles at 105 stations once the new stations are up and running.
Three car sharing providers ("book-n-drive", (opens in a new tab) "scouter" (opens in a new tab) and "stadtmobil RheinMain") (opens in a new tab) are active in Wiesbaden; a digital map (opens in a new tab) shows the different locations.
There is also a car sharing station opposite the RMCC that can be used by congress guests. This is located at Rheinstraße 23-25 and is operated by the provider scouter.
